connection, education, embodied leadership
I am an artist-scholar-practitioner, educator, and leadership advisor who centers connection as a source of power. With nearly two decades of experience across education, neurodiversity advocacy, community engagement, and leadership, my work explores how growth-fostering relationships help people and groups learn, contribute, and create change together.
Through teaching, I invite undergraduate and graduate students to recognize their capacity to positively influence the people and systems around them. Using relational, humanizing, and arts-based approaches, I create opportunities for students to explore leadership and social change through connection, creativity, and collective possibility.
As a leadership advisor to people working in social impact, I help nurture relationships, deepen collaboration, and develop community engagement approaches that bring people together around shared purpose. Through faculty development, I offer guidance and workshops on relational and universal design pedagogy, supporting faculty in building cultures where colleagues learn from one another, turn to each other for support, and nurture intellectual curiosity.
My work is grounded in Relational Cultural Theory, relational teaching, embodied leadership, and a deep belief in the power of connection.
My work is deeply rooted in relationships—the people, places, organizations, and ideas that connect us and through which new possibilities emerge. I am grateful for the partnerships, collaborations, and projects that have shaped my work and experience. Together, they reflect my ongoing exploration of how growth-fostering relationships create opportunities to learn, contribute, and create together.
